Human Resources Administrator

 

Local utility company looking for an experience and professional Human Resource Administrator that is responsible for providing support as a member of the Human Resources department.


Monday-Friday; traditional day hours

$55K-79K


Compensation

  • Verifies supervisor-requested pay raises are in line with budget.
  • Provides advice to supervisors and research where needed,
  • Ensures consistency in application and awarding.
  • Participates in compensation and other Human Resources analytic surveys.

Job Analysis

  • Creates and maintains job descriptions.
  • Ensures continuity between DBSquared system and job descriptions.
  • Ensures FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable employment law compliance.

Recruitment

  • Coordinates the employment process including applications, job postings, advertisements, interviews, supervisor support, pre-employment drug screening, and background checks.
  • Contacts and coordinates outreach in local education facilities (high school, college, trade schools).

Employee Professional Development

  • Responsible for the promotion, coordination, and delivery of the employee professional development programs.

Policies & Procedures

  • Provides interpretation and clarification upon request.

Employee Relations

  • Maintains open-door policy to encourage effective communications for HR (Human Resource) guidance and/or assistance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in human resource management or related field,
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of HR Generalist experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation analysis, job analysis, and recruiting
  • Experience in the development and delivery of employee professional development programs.
  • Obtain and maintain Human Resources professional certification by an accredited organization (aPHR, PHR, SPHR, SPHR-CM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) within eighteen (18) months of hire date. Required to maintain certification during employment.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and applicability.
  • Ability to attain and maintain a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
