Human Resources/ Payroll Clerk

Irrigation distribution company seeking a dedicated Human Resources Payroll Clerk to join our organization. This vital role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in ADP , along with a comprehensive understanding of human resources functions.


Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

Pay: $18-$25/hour


Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP.
  • Maintain and update employee records within HRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure consistency across financial records.
  • Manage benefits administration related to payroll, including deductions and contributions.
  • Handle data entry tasks related to payroll transactions, tax filings, and employee compensation adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper journal entries and bookkeeping procedures are followed.
  • Assist with compliance by preparing reports for governmental agencies and ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation related to payroll and financial transactions.


Skills

  • Proficiency in payroll management software ADP.
  • Human Resource experience
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits administration procedures.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analysis skills for reviewing financial data and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ability to perform detailed work involving 10 key typing and complex calculations efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
