Medical clinic seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. Ideal candidate would establish and/or maintain the organization's accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure the generation of GAAP accrual based financial statements. The Senior Accountant must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple simultaneous deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger accounting.
- Manage cash flow and cash management activities to optimize liquidity.
- Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and financial concepts.
Skills
- Must have Bachelors degree.
- 3 years experience in accounting field.
- Medical experience would be a plus.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.
- Proficient in cash management and financial report writing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with budgeting techniques and forecasting methodologies.
- Proficient in using various accounting software tools for effective financial management.
This position could either be temp-perm or direct hire.
Salary: $85,000 annually with a $10,000 annual additional bonus potential.
