Irrigation supply house seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee companies financial operations for 28 locations. This role requires leadership in managing accounting team, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws.

Responsibilities
- Oversee sales tax filings, property taxes, business licenses, and support income tax compliance in coordination with external advisors.
- Provide direct supervision of the finance team, which consists of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and an Accountant.
- Oversee all daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and the accurate and timely management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and interpret complex financial reports, statements, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a key ERP resource, supporting data accuracy, reporting, and process improvements.
- Conduct cash flow analysis, bank reconciliations, and account analysis to maintain financial health.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial services projects such as payroll processing or regulatory compliance initiatives.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory or managerial experience required.
- Experience working within ERP systems; Eclipse ERP experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and budget management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and managing cross-functional projects involving financial analysis and reporting.
